A story by Arcturus Bender
Once upon a time there was a giant isopod named Dennis. He went on a mission to a cave. The journey was long and the cave was spooky. He unpacked his tent and slept at the mouth of the cave. The next day he went inside. It is a good thing Dennis has night vision because the cave was very dark. He met some eels inside the cave. The eels were looking for food. Suddenly a loud growl came from deep inside the cave. Dennis told the eels to hide. Dennis used his tracker to track movement inside the cave. An enormous fish came up from the depths of the cave. “My name is Eater,” said the fish. “I have been lost inside this cave since I followed a tasty shark.” Eater gave a chunk of the shark to Dennis and the eels. Dennis gave Eater his tracker so he wouldn’t get lost trying to find food again. Dennis went deeper into the cave. He found a whole group of giant isopods living inside. He shared his chunk of shark meat with them. He also found a treasure chest in the cave. Dennis, the other isopods, and the eels took the treasure out of the cave. They used it to buy a nice sunken ship to live in.
